We spent two days at hotel GHL between the travel of Cusco and La Paz. The location is beautiful. The hotel was built 40 years ago. I won’t say that the architecture mingled well with the surrounding but it isn’t much disrupting to the environment. There is a high rise building in Puno which wasn’t very pleasing. The interior was very nice and introduced the lake view to all the space, from room, lobby to restaurant etc. They have an onsite agent who can provide all the services. We had breakfast and dinner both and food was nice too.

The hotel was a great choice particularly for if you are wanting to do an excursion along Lake Titicaca as the hotel has their own dock and they are located right on the lake. They also have a lovely scenic walk around the hotel. The staff on reception and in the restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to extend our check out with no problems until 9.30pm (at an extra charge) which most hotels don’t allow!

The location, the restaurant and the staff are on 5-star level. Breakfast exceptionally good for Peru: it even encludes a variety of cereals.

The location is on a beautiful peninsula with floral and natural grounds surrounding the property. Also, the views from both sides of the hotel were fantastic. The common areas and the rooms have large windows that showcase these views. It is a peaceful environment and it is just a short taxi ride into the center of Puno.

This is a wonderful property on a private peninsula near Puno. Our room had a spectacular view over the lake and Uros floating islands. There is a trail we walked around the property and enjoyed the beautiful flora and fauna of Titikaka lake. In the evening we set next to fireplace and drank wine. Breakfast is excellent with a magnificent view. Make sure you wake up on time( around 5ish) to witness the most beautiful sunrise.There isn’t better place to stay around Puno. I can’t recommend it enough!

It is the best accommodation to stay in Titicaca/Titikaka, hence it is not really a 5 star hotel, more like 4 star. The bed was uncomfortable for me, although other 5 in the group didn’t complain at all. Rooms are clean, location is the best possible, hotel restaurant has delicious menu and food, staff is very friendly, I recommend to book the table for a dinner in advance. It is a busy hotel. I also recommend to book transfers and trip to the Islands via hotel.

Fantastic location, huge spaces, nice view, good english speaking staff. Own pier at the hotel (it’s great option to have a cruise to the Uros islands.) There is extra oxygen possibility - which was very good for my son.

Stunning view of the lake from the room. VERY comfortable and clean room. Good to have a gym and jacuzzi though we only used the gym. Restaurant was very good too. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing location, super kind and professional staff ( special remark for Don Eduardo who went out of his way to help me with the gluten free options both at the restaurant and for the room service, always very kind and helpful). Super treatment from Carla from Peru Deluxe that made my travel even more magic both for the hotel and for the islands tour and transportation. Muchísimas gracias 🙏🏻
